So maybe you used to play with LEGO when you were young? Maybe your kids love playing with it now.. Well
right when you thought LEGO’s couldn’t improve, someone pops up and makes a formula for consumable ( Yes you can eat them!! ) custom made sticky LEGO pieces that you can even stack and build with!. Thanks to the guys at ‘ Kind of random ‘ who have there own you tube channel, now you will be able to make this for yourself or kids..

We hope you enjoy this and please share it with your friends if you like the idea… – Thank you!

What you will need:

1/2 cup of very cold water
1/4 cup of corn syrup
2 packets of unflavoured gelatin
120ml vodka — Leave this out obviously if your making for the kids
1 pack (85g) of jelly

How to make your own edible Lego:

1) Put the corn syrup into the cold water and blend until its completely dissolved.

2) At that point empty the your mixture into a pan but don’t start the heat yet.

3) Include both packs of gelatin and afterward the powdered jelly and vodka. Blend until all the gelatin is blended in.

4) Set your stove to medium/low heating for around 5-10 mins and mix the blend every few minutes. At the point when the gelatin is totally liquefied, the syrup can be put into the molds.

Leave it so it can set for about five hours.

Begin building/eating!!

Firstly one of the most important tools you are going to need to keep your wine the correct temperature is this — Wine Corsicle

Oh SO! You are the type that loves to play host and have friends over for a party time to time! The real problem lies on the time and energy you have to put in just to play a good host. You live in a world full of attentions and distractions; as a result, you have quite limited hours to organize quality party. This makes the wine and cheese party very handy. A lot of people really love a wine and cheese party. The reality here is that hosting a good wine and cheese party is hard to come by. Too much money is usually spent on Cheez Whiz, Triscuits and Asti Spumantti with very little attention paid to presentation. A wine and cheese party gives you the opportunity to wow your guests without you doing much. You know what to do? Alright, all you have to do is to pay attention to the following:

Pairing Wine and Cheese

Now, the key issue here is what wines really pair well with what cheeses? There is never a universal consensus on what pairs well but many ‘experts’ believe that Gouda is best with fruity white. Yeah, this may be true, but what variation of Gouda is best paired? Should it be smoky or spicy Gouda? For instance, Pinot Noir or Cabernet would make a better pairing. The reality here is that it boils down to personal taste. Now, what is really your taste? Below is a general guide that will help channel you to the proper wine and cheese combination:

The cheese:

We have here, the major types of cheeses for you to choose from with some examples of each to make selection easier for you: Hard cheese: zamarano, wensley dale, swiss, reggiano, raclette, pecorino Romano, parmigiano, machego, Jarlsberg, gruyere, grana padeno, emmentater, Edam, derby, blue, asiago. Semi-soft cheese: Port Salut, Morbier, Madrigal Baby Swiss, Kasseri, Havarti, Bel Paese, Baby Swiss, Colby. Semi-hard cheese: Stilton, Sonoma Jack, Roquefort, Provolone, Panela, Cheddar, Graddost, Chesire, Gouda, Cotija, Double Gloucester. The wine

We are done with cheeses, time for wines that complement cheeses, below are the wines that complement an array of cheese types. Kindly bear in mind that there are some wines that really goes with more than one type of cheese. It all depends on the cheese taste variation and complexity. Take for example; Beaujolais can blend with soft crumbly feta or a hard cheese like Emmenthal. It is important you understand that this is a general guide: the final decision is yours to make: Semi-soft cheese: Bourgueil, Chardonnay, Chinon, Champagne, Beaujolais, Riesling, Fleurie, Barolo, Rioja, Bordeaux. Semi-hard cheese: Tawny Port, Chardonnay, Barolo, Champagne, Chianti Riserva, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Sancerre, Chenin Blanc. Hard cheese: Pinot Noir, Bardolino, Gewurztraminer, Tawny Port, Sangria, Madeira, Dark Beer, Chenin Blanc, Beaujolais, Sauvignon Blanc, Sancerre, Chianti Riserva, Chardonnay, Ribera del Duero, Côtes du Rhône, Barbaresco, Brunello di Montalcino.

Planning your wine and cheese party menu:

Alright, you already have ample wine and cheese choices. You also have been given compatibility recommendations which are cool. The next thing is for you set a theme for the party: it all boils down to your choice; you may decide to go for a taste of Italy and have wines and cheeses from that country. Though there are other regional choices available for you such as France, Spain, South Africa and Australia. You can still choose a non-geographical theme. You can decide to make available a selection of hard cheese or center the theme on the drink and have dessert wines. You can see, there are plenty of options available, the sky is the limit.Read up how to make drunken vodka gummy bears Wine and presentation

An important part of wine and cheese party is the presentation. As a result of this, the attention is drawn towards the aesthetic but has to be from a functional standpoint. It’s paramount you pay attention to how you present the cheese: the follow tips will guide you: Please, focus on not more than five cheeses. We recommend three. You should estimate about 4.5 ounces or 125 grams of cheeses per person. Ensure you make them good. You as a person may love a cheese with funk but the guests may prefer timid palate. It is best to have variation in taste, appearance and texture. It is really good to have contrast. Based on who is to appear, tone the cheese down or up. The cheese board is the ideal thing. Paper plates are not recommended for serving cheeses. We recommend you invest in a platter made of wood or marble that is large enough to separate the cheeses. Also, it is important the color of the board is appealing to the eyes and can act as a contrast to your selections. It is recommended you have a knife per selection. Do not mingle your cheeses. Depending on the type of cheese, you can use a butter knife for firm cheese. Alright, it is obvious that cheese belongs to the fridge but never ever serve cheese cold. Allow it stand until its at room temperature. You will surely like the difference in the taste, trust us! Make it possible for your guests to be able to gather to sample the wines and cheeses. This will enable your guests to move about freely and mingle.

Wine and Cheese party accompaniments

You seriously need to keep your guests enticed with some accompaniments. See some suggestions below: Good crackers will be good. Bread is cool too. Simply run to a good bakery and grab the very fresh bread. Also bear in mind that strong olive bread may detract from the cheeses. Fruits are good too. Sliced stone fruits like plums and nectarines, Japanese pear slices, grapes and apples are very good too. Walnuts are perfect complement to so many cheeses. Simply toast them and serve warm. Pine nuts, hazelnuts and Brazil nuts also complement well. Dark and strong chocolate is the only highly recommended chocolate to serve at a wine and cheese party.

Time to get the party started!

It is time to get the party started: with all these ready, you can now go ahead and get your party under way. Go ahead and invite your guests, throw in some good music and have a blast. Ensure you have sufficient wine to keep the party going. Have fun!!
Dinner party ideas

A dinner party should be amazing, fun, entertaining, delightful and colourful. Follow these tips to make your next dinner party awesome.

Decoration ideas

Decorations are an important part of your dinner party. While decorating, always consider the theme of your dinner party. Plan your decoration to match your dinner theme. It’s paramount you decide how many guests you will inviting. If all you have got is a table for four, you really don’t need to worry because you can borrow, rent or even buy a big folding table or you set up a concrete blocks and floor and top with plywood-meaning you can simply add tablecloth. If you don’t have tablecloth, simply look for one. Also look for a set of cloth napkins. You can get it cheaper from a thrift store or flea market preferably. You can choose to buy the material from a fabric store and cut to size with pinking shears.

You can ask your party guests to come along with their own chair if you’re short of chairs. This implies you should make your party BYOC if you’re short of chairs. Another way of tackling shortage of chairs is to throw a big blanket in the middle of your living room and then host an indoor picnic. (Kindly inform your guests ahead about your sitting arrangement so that they can plan their outfit accordingly.)

Remember to skip the super-scented sort (avoid freesia or lilies please) this is to prevent them from interfering with the flavors of your meal. Also keep them low so that guests will not need machete to see across the table. You can avoid huge expensive bouguets, march juice glasses, short glasses or tea cups with just one bloom in each down the middle of the table. You can set out a bowl of seasonal fruits in order to cut cost further. You may also cut flowers, branches or even large plant leaves from your yard, fill a small vase with fresh herbs you left over from your cooking.

Finnaly, in respect to your dinner party decoration, bear in mind that nothing kills the atmosphere of an intimate dinner like bright lightning. Cut the overheads and turn on lamps and light candles incase you don’t have dimmer. But if you have dimmer, go ahead and use it. Candlesticks or candelibra are very lovely too as long as they are not obstructing guests’ views.

A grouping of votives can be added on windowsills and side tables for even greater glow power. We think centerpieces are essential for dinner parties.. Take a look at these special LED light up bases..

It’s also a GREAT idea if you set the mood before guests set their foot inside your door with candle bags lining the walk in..

One of the most popular lighting decorations for a dinner party would have to be a laser star projector

General tips

First, one of the most important thing here is how to set the table properly. The basic set up goes like this: Napkin should be in the centre of dinner plate, forks should be placed at the left, soup spoons and knives to the right, water glass over the knife and wine glass to the right. During the first course, guests should eat with the outermost silverware-usually a soup spoon or salad fork. Ensure you remove after the first course. Guests should walk their way inward. This means you must set the table accordingly. Once the table is cleared, desert should be served separately and desert forks brought out alongside desert bowls and plates. Also, you may want your guests retire to the living room and have their sweet there.

Finally, in respect to dress code for your dinner: a dinner party is better attended to with something slightly refined. This implies that it is best to avoid; T-shirts, jeans and sneakers.

Now, in case you are a fan of a casual buffet to a sit-down affairs, use place cards to identify each dish. This should be done particularly if any of your guests has certain dietary restrictions. It’s also advisable you indicate properly the flavor of the gathering so that your guests can dress accordingly.

Activity tips for your dinner party

The prime time activity in a dinner party is eating. Eating is what makes dinner parties so delightful and colorful. Remember you have two obligations: first, to sit still and consume the free meal and secondly, taking off the pressure of mixing and mingling from get-to go to goodbye. This does not mean that the dinner has to be strictly dinner and polite conversation. You can incorporate wine-pairing lesson with each course or ask guests to go round the table to share their own dinner party fantasy guest list. You can also throw a murder mystery dinner.

If you really want to make an amazing impression on your guests use one of our garden landscape lights to light up your home..
